In our comprehensive study, we’ve explored the significant advantages of µDOES© over traditional lab-based methods like ICP-OES. Notably, µDOES© operates without the need for carrier gases, uses substantially less energy, and automates the entire measurement process—from sampling to data evaluation. This makes it an eco-friendlier and more efficient approach to monitoring and analyzing critical trace impurities such as sodium (Na), potassium (K), and zinc (Zn) in lithium carbonate and hydroxide solutions. These impurities must be meticulously removed to produce high-purity lithium precursors essential for battery manufacturing.
Our team has meticulously optimized various operational parameters, including electrical conductivity and plasma discharge energy, enhancing the precision and efficiency of trace element analysis.
